Flutter those lashes!

So this is another product I’m really in love with!

It’s Max Factor’s False Lash Effect Mascara.

I’ve got it in Waterproof Black, but I hear the non-waterproof one is a lot better.

It comes in shades Black, Brown Black and Waterproof (black).

I usually comb and curl (you can use either normal or heated curlers) my lashes before applying the mascara, I apply starting from the root and work upwards to the end of the lash.
You can control the look you want to create, need no more than 3 coats.
You can create either natural looking lashes or more dramatic or something in between the two.
If you want natural looking lashes you only need one coat, if you want more dramatic you can apply either 2 or 3 coats depending on how dramatic you want them to be.
I recommend applying your 2nd/3rd coat once you first application is dry.

The brush is quite thick, apparently it’s Max Factor’s biggest wand yet, some people have said they have trouble applying it because of the brush being big, that the product accidentally ends up on their eyelid. So I would suggest putting your mascara on first, before applying eye shadow/eyeliner, because if you do get mascara on your lid then you can use a cotton bud to wipe away the product and at the same time you won’t ruin your make up. =]

It doesn’t clump, I think this is due to the teeth of the brush.
It lasts for hours and hours! I never need to re apply this mascara.

And finally to answer that question your all wanting to know…
Does it really give big lashes?

Yes it does!
This product is amazing, the best mascara I’ve used so far!

I got it from Boot’s, I paid £10.99 for a 13.1ml Tube.

Roses are Red..

Like my lipstick above (My Valentines Make Up Look ^^ )
And like everything which is in the shop lately. ha.
Yes! It’s almost valentines day!
Some of us love It, some of us hate it.

If your in a relationship?
Then that’s fabulous, I hope you and your partner have a wonderful day whatever you decide to do.

Dealing with a break up?
The best thing to do is to stay positive, I know that might seem hard to do at the moment, but once your feeling better and over it, you’ll only look back and laugh about how it got you down.
Remember everything happens for a reason, there’s always someone/something better just around the corner.
This weekend you should do anything to cheer yourself up, for ideas keep reading…

Single?
I think this time of the year should be the time where you look at all the positives of the single life, freedom, being able to do whatever you want and not having any of the stress of Valentines day, etc etc.

Here’s a list of Santy ideas on what to do this weekend:
-Have an Anti Valentines night out, grab your best friend/s and have a night out on the Saturday.
-Go shopping!
-Have a day of pampering.
-Have a DVD night, stock up on treats/drinkies, either do this by enjoying 'me time' or get some friends together.
-Do something completely random.
-Call a friend/family member and chat for hours.

Just do anything fun that will make you happy!
Don’t let Valentines Day get you down!

And always remember!
the most exciting, challenging and significant relationship of all is the one you have with yourself. :)

Love Santy

Unwanted hair?

Ever had your eyebrows waxed and you've walked out the salon looking like you've got a bad case of sunburn underneath them? Or even had a reaction to the wax?

Over plucked your eyebrows? Messed up the shape of them?

Or had any other kind of eyebrow treatment gone wrong?

Then i recommend threading!

It’s a non-chemical hair removal treatment, It is performed by using a length of twisted cotton to catch and pull out the hairs.

I've had my eyebrows waxed and i've plucked them, but threading is by far the best treatment and favourite for my eyebrows!

I’ve only experienced a tiny bit of pain when getting this treatment.
Eyes can tend to water a little.

I hardly get any redness at all! it's not the most sexiest look is it now? ha.
After, i notice my skin in my brow area feels really smooth and soft and brows look beautifully shaped.

It’s super quick! It takes about 5/10 minutes, perfect to squeeze into your lunch break.

The prices vary depending on where you go, it costs me £6? £11 including brow tint at my local salon.

Most local salons do this treatment, but most Debenhams/Selfridges do it at there Benito Brow Bar (£10 at Benito Brow).

Mine last about 3-4 weeks, but this can vary for each person. I get them threaded and tinted once a month.

The other threading treatments you can have are;
*Upper Lip
*Sides of the face
*Chin
*Full face

Now go and book yourself in for one! :)
Let me know what you think!
