Summer Inspiration

To get a figure like this!

Realistically that isn't going to happen.
But i am willing to improve my diet, drink more water/herbal tea, do yoga and zumba once a week, do more walking/jogging and maybe even start pole dancing again.

What helps you lose weight?

How is your summer dieting going?

Much love

Chanel Summer Collection

Oh i am absolutely in love with this collection, as it has my dream selection of colours and products rolled into one.

Just look at this promo photograph as a taster of what there is to buy...

I'm a huge fan of pastel colours, warm bronzers and general summer styles!

Awwh i just LOVE it all!

Anyway.. onto the products!

Nail Varnish

Mimosa- probably the most talked about product out of the whole collection, i bright yellow nail polish, recommend to use on your toes! (But i would wear this on my hands easily!) Imagine looking down at your new summer sandals to see your toe nails all nice and bright, no need to worry about getting your feet out onto the beach.

Morning Rose- Such a gorgeous colour and has like a gold shimmer in it, it has good staying power also, perfect pinky/peachy shade.

Beige Petale- great if your a fan of nude shades.

How amazing are these bronzers please?!
Bronzer is one of my favourite cosmetic products anyway, i'm a big fan of Soleil Tan De Chanel Bronzing powders anyway, so when i saw these i got instantly excited, I've had a play around with these and you can create a few different looks with them, i personally prefer this one (Bronze Corail) out of the two as i tend to go for more Peach/Coral/Orange shades because i'm attracted to those colours more than pinks and the fact they compliment my skin tone better.

Soleil Tan De Chanel Bronzing powder- Bronze Corail

Soleil Tan De Chanel Bronzing powder- Bronze Rose

Oh and not forgetting the famous Bronze Universal, which should hopefully be back in stock next month, it's such a fantastic multi purpose bronzer and has long lasting staying power.

Sheer Illuminating fluid gives you that perfect natural, dewy, glowing look. The shade sunkissed is a gorgeous golden shimmer shade, can be used underneath your foundation or just to be used on highlighter areas (top of cheekbones, down the nose, cupids bow and even on your brow bone)

Lipgloss!

Pucker up for these beauties!

Top: Aurore
Middle: Pink Peony
Bottom: Pensee

I think Pensee might be the winner for me out of them, followed very closely by Aurore.

And for the eyes, is a perfect choice of greens and taupes, which go with every eye colour! I constantly use my Naked palette as i love browns/golds for my eyes, but i need a change and green is the next best choice of eyeshadow in my opinion. Will make your peepers POP!

Have you fell in love??

Will you be getting your hands on any of these?

Spring Shopping!

With it being my birthday this weekend and Summer on it's way!
I thought i'd have a bit of a shopping trip, treat myself!

I took myself into H&M, were i went a bit crazy, but i LOVE what I've bought!

I got...

*Floral print maxi dress

*Boho Style Maxi Dress

*Black & White Stripey Maxi Dress

*Peach Trousers

Feathered Earrings

Coral Sandals

Gold Pilot Sunglasses

Oh and a basic white crop top!

In total i spent only £76! Bargain! :)

Then i ventured into Superdrug, i could have gone crazy in here but i was sensible and just went in for what i needed...

Barry M Nail Paints are on offer at the moment (2 for £4.99)
So i chose...
Barry M Peach Melba Nail Paint

and

Barry M Mushroom Nail Paint

I picked up a bottle of..
Revlon Colorstay Foundation, Combo/oily skin, in shade Early Tan (I normally use Natural tan but with Summer coming up i wanted a slightly darker foundation, also one to match my fake tan)

I needed some False eyelashes, as they are an essential for party time! I normally buy Eylure False Lashes but i spotted the Girls with attitude false eyelashes on offer(3 for 2) so i couldn't resist, I've used these in the past and i like the effect they give, i don't use the glue that comes with them i just use my Duo Adhesive glue from Mac.

I got styles (from left to right)
Look of lust, Tickle his fancy & Madame Butterfly.

Then i got other essentials such as:
Palmers cocoa butter body moisturiser
2x Dove deodrant sprays
Dove roll on
Dove bodywash
Toothbrushes

Then i had a browse in Primark, surprisingly i didn't fill up a basket (probably for the first time ever!)
I just got some basic underwear (i needed a nude colour set to blend in with my cream see through clothing items)

Then i bought something extra special...

It's for Saturday, my birthday night out....

This Lipsy playsuit...

I shopped till i dropped!
Well until i got hungry and decided to have my tea at Las Iguana's and some cheeky cocktails (I love that place)

Do you like what i bought?
What have you purchased recently?
:)

Sunday 27 March 2011

Thoughts of the day..

*Today (Sunday) has been one of those weird days, indecisive-ness, plans forming then dropped every few minutes, mind changing, the clocks going forward and yeah just a weird day really!

*I'm loving hair accessories at the moment! I want more.

*I really love feathers, lots! You can never have too many feathered things!

*I've given my Mac Prep & Prime, primer another chance today and i think i'm converted and want to try more primers as i can see an improvement in my make up. I tried this a while back and wasn't sure how i felt about it, now i think i'm in love.

*I was getting just a little bit bored of my SATC box set, yes i know, i thought i would never say that, but i went back to Season 1 and i'm not bored of it anymore.

*My eyebrows are seriously in need of a good threading! You can only go so long making them look good with eyeshadow, they are starting to look like giant caterpillars.

*I wish my lashes were naturally like how are they are in the picture, thank god for Eylure False Eyelashes! One of my favourite products ever!~

*Saturdays are NOT the day to have seriously bad hangovers, a day wasted, suffering.~

*It's officially Spring! I can't wait to stock up on new pretty outfits!

Hope you've all had a lovely weekend!
