Golden Brown...

This is my favourite false tan that I have used so far.

It’s Xen-Tan Dark Tanning Lotion. (Pronounced as Zen Tan)

I’ve been using this for about a year or two now.

It gives such an amazing natural dark looking tan.
This fake tan has olive undertones and gives a streakless application so you don’t have to worry about looking like a traffic cone or an orange zebra. A lot of fake tans have a not so nice biscuit type smell, whereas Xen-Tan smells like cherry almonds, it’s lovely.

My tanning routine:
When I’m in the shower or bath I exfoliate, I use exfoliating gloves (you can also use an exfoliating scrub- such as St Ive’s apricot scrub), once I’m out the shower I get dry and then I moisturise my whole body (I use Palmer’s Coco Butter) I wait until it’s soaked in, then I put on a pair of tanning gloves (I use St Tropez tanning gloves, you can also use a tanning mitt, a make up sponge or your hands, if you use your hands remember to wash the palm of your hands with warm water and soap ASAP after application) I then start to apply the fake tan all over- working up the body using circular motions, you can also apply it to your face but you don’t need to apply much, avoid contact with eyes. I work quite fast with Xen Tan as it dries quickly, it gives an instant colour that helps you to find any bit’s you have missed. I apply this in the evening before I go to bed, it doesn’t stain sheets, bonus! But I do recommend you wear dark colours afterwards (maybe get an old pair of pyjama’s and use them as your after tan clothes) It will take 3hours for the tan to fully develop, so avoid showering/swimming in this time. When you have your first shower/bath after application, residue will wash away, but you will be left with your natural looking tan and you can wear any colour you like after this (I just get a bath/shower the day after application).

This tan lasts up to a week maybe longer, I apply this tanning lotion once a week, usually the night before a night out on the town. If you want an even darker looking tan just repeat the application.

I bought it from

and it cost me £18.95 for a 236ml bottle.
FREE delivery too!

I 100% recommend this product!

I’m looking forward to trying out other Xen-tan products in the near future! :)

Xen Tan

Hope you all like it just as much as i do!
